can provide your company with a remote Global Edge
demo via the internet. This can either be accomplished with
Microsoft Netmeeting or WebEx. Microsoft Netmeeting is an effective
method to demonstrate Global Edge provided that
your company's firewall allows Netmeeting remote access. If
your company has firewall restrictions, WebEx will bypass firewall
restrictions. Please call or e-mail (demo@ldcglobal.com)
LDC to set-up a time for a remote Global Edge
demo.
Netmeeting
Netmeeting
is a standard part of Windows. If you are running Windows
2000, Netmeeting can be accessed with the following steps:
- Select
"Start" --> "Programs" --> "Accessories"
--> "Communications" --> "Netmeeting"
- Then
go through the initial set-up steps
- Once
you select "Finish" - Windows NetMeeting will
come up
- At
this point we will provide you with an IP Address that will
allow you log onto our network
WebEx
To
set up WebEx on your PC, you will need to access the following
link:
http://www.webex.com/home/default.htm
Once at
the web page - select "Attend a Meeting" in the
upper right-hand corner of the screen. Select "New User"
to test the connection. We will provide you withthe proper
Meeting Number prior to the demo.
